How to Make this Quick and Easy Pasta Dish that is Ready in 20 Minutes

One of the best ways to prepare a quick meal is to use pasta. This pasta
recipe is ready in minutes, clean up is minimal, and the dish is very
tasty. Feed your family quickly, easily, and without "breaking the back
of your food budget". Try this Fettuccine with Creamy Zucchini Sauce for

FETTUCCINE WITH CREAMY ZUCCHINI SAUCE

A simple but delicious pasta dish ready in about 20 minutes.

12 oz fettuccine
2 tbsp olive oil
1 1/4 lbs zucchini and/or yellow squash
1 large garlic clove
8 oz ricotta cheese
salt to taste
fresh ground black pepper to taste
grated Parmesan cheese for garnish, optional

Cook the fettuccine according to the package directions. When draining the
pasta, save 1/2 cup of the liquid. Meanwhile, heat the olive oil in a
medium skillet over medium-high heat. Cut the zucchini in half lenthwise
then cut into half moon slices about 1/4-inch thick. Mince the garlic. Add
half the zucchini to the skillet, flat side down, flat in the skillet.
Cook until browned, 2 to 3 minutes, then turn and cook the other side a
minute or two. Remove to a plate. Add more oil to skillet if needed and
repeat the zucchini cooking process with the other half of the squash; add
the garlic. Transfer these zucchini and garlic to the plate, also. Turn
off the heat then add the 1/2 cup of the pasta water and the ricotta
cheese to the skillet. Stir to dislodge and browned bits of zucchini from
the skillet. Season with salt and pepper to suit your taste. (It is okay
if the ricotta looks a little curdled.) Pour the drained fettuccine,
vegetables and any juice that has accumulated on the plate, back into the
skillet. Stir gently to combine all the ingredients together. Sprinkle
pasta with the Parmesan cheese, if desired.

This is a really rich pound cake which is tasteful alone or with ice cream

not the best pound cake recipe I have ever made. I have made cream cheese,
sour cream,buttermilk, etc and whipping cream still seems to be the best
to me. This cake is very moist, easy to make and very delicious. Oh, my
goodness talk about exceptional! This cake is so incredibly good! These
classic cakes have a dense crumb, a tender, moist texture and a rich,
buttery taste.Bakers use the creaming method-beating the fat and sugar
together to hold air bubbles-and chemical liveners like baking powder,
rather than beaten eggs like sponge cakes and angel food cakes to create
their fine texture. Some recipes also call for chemical liveners baking
powder or baking soda, milk, buttermilk or sour cream, flavoring extracts,
and a pinch of salt to heighten the flavors. Over-mixing, which would
cause the cookies to spread flat when baking, is hard to do when creaming
butter and sugar for a cake. Since there are so few ingredients in these
cakes, use high-quality butter and pure flavoring extracts, measure with
perfect accuracy and follow the recipe directions to achieve the best
results. This is my favorite style of pound cake, resulting in a firm cake
that is great for cubing, slicing or snacking it's highly addictive and is
great for dipping in ganaches and creams or sauces. Butter Pound cake
recipe

Ingredients 1 cup butter 1 8-ounce package cream cheese 6 eggs 3 cups
all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 2-1/4 cups
sugar 1/4 cup poppy seed 2 teaspoons vanilla Directions 1. Allow butter,
cream cheese, and eggs to stand at room temperature for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, grease and lightly flour a 10-inch tube pan; set aside. Combine
flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside. 2. In a large mixing bowl beat
butter and cream cheese with an electric mixer on medium to high speed
about 30 seconds or until softened. Gradually add sugar, 2 tablespoons at
a time, beating on medium speed about 5 minutes or until very light and
fluffy. Add poppy seed and vanilla. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating on low
to medium speed 1 minute after each addition and scraping bowl frequently.
Gradually add flour mixture, beating on low speed just until combined.
Pour batter into prepared pan. 3. Bake in a 325 degree F oven about 75
minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted near center comes out clean.
Cool in pan on wire rack 15 minutes. Remove from pan. Cool thoroughly on
wire rack. Drizzle Lemon Icing over cake. Makes 16 servings. Gooey Butter
Cake Recipe Easy butter cake recipe that yields moist and delicious butter

so appetizing with afternoon coffee. For the crust: 1 (18.5 ounce)box of
yellow cake mix 1 egg 1 stick (1/2 cup) of butter, melted For the Filling:

pound box of confectioners sugar 1 stick (1/2 cup) of butter, melted
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 13x9x2-inch glass baking dish with
Non-Stick cooking spray. In a large mixing bowl, mix together the cake
mix, the egg, and the melted butter. Pat the dough down into the bottom of
the glass baking dish. Set aside. In the same bowl, mix together softened
cream cheese until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla. Mix in the
confectioner's sugar. Beat well and then slowly add the butter until all
ingredients are well mixed. Pour onto crust and bake for 40 to 50 minutes.
When you go to take it out of the oven, it will seem awfully "gooey" in

As I've been saying for quite some time, Rogues are in a pretty good
place in WoW right now. We're competitive in the arena and battleground
scene, and our PvE DPS is definitely at the level we should expect as a
pure DPS class. With the upcoming nerfs to some of our biggest rivals
(Feral Druids in particular), Patch 3.2 will simply be more of the same
for the Rogue class.

We've got 3 viable specs for PvE progression (though HaT is underused),
and Combat has seen a rebirth in the 3v3 and 5v5 brackets via the potency
of Fan of Knives, Blade Flurry, and Killing Spree for AoE pressure and
massive application of poisons to all targets. The only real change
coming in 3.2 will be our new capacity for wielding Axes. I don't know
about you, but I've already got two Axes enchanted and ready to go!

More than any other class, I think, Paladins underwent significant
changes in Patch 3.2. There were changes across all three specs that
palpably impact gameplay and challenge players to take a different
approach to the way they play their class. I went through most of the
changes in detail in an older post, and many of those initial thoughts
still hold true, albeit tempered with some experience on the PTR and
changes over the past weeks.

There are buffs and there are nerfs, but the main thing to keep in mind
is that this is Blizzard's constant balancing act. As the game
progresses, I feel that they're finally honing in to the proper vision
for the class. We won't go through all the changes here, but we'll break
them down according to what impacts the class in general and according to
spec. Let's bathe in the Light after the break...
